March 1, 2026 – Fifty paperback copies of Ritu Anand’s upcoming children’s book, I Am My Language, will go to children unable to afford books through a grant by UnidosNow, a nonprofit whose mission is “to empower Latinos to achieve their American dream.” The books will be distributed at Anand’s book launch at Selby Library in Sarasota, Florida, on April 25, which coincides with the official publication date of the book.
I Am My Language is a heartfelt celebration of heritage, identity, and the power of mother tongues. It is beautifully illustrated by Maaz Farzaan and is Anand’s third children’s book.
An author and literary agent, she has also been selected as a Spotlighted Guest at Imaginarium Convention in Louisville, Kentucky, July 17-19.
