Coming soon: ‘Let God’s Grace Shine on Your Race’

December 2, 2025 - If you’re interested in a spiritual roadmap to help you become a more faithful Christian, author Cheryl Fiscus Jenkins offers help her upcoming book, Let God’s Grace Shine on Your Race: A Spiritual Roadmap to a Faithful You. Jenkins is a Christian and a long-time member and deacon. A resident of Trafalgar, Indiana, she writes this book in a conversational style similar to her column-writing experience as a journalist.

She says, “God is calling, my friends. He wants to run our race with us through the peaks and valleys, victories and defeats, triumphs and tears that make doing life with Him so much better. He accepts us as our rebellious, broken, messy selves but loves us too much to leave us there.”

Jenkins graduated from the University of Evansville with a bachelor’s degree in communications/journalism and has been on staff or freelanced for four Indiana newspapers covering news, features, and sports. She has won writing awards for Best In-Depth Feature Story from the Indiana Associated Press and the Hoosier State Press Association.

We expect the book to publish in the first quarter of 2026.
