Thriller Writer Interviewed On Podcast

August 6, 2025 – East Tennessee author John Bukowski’s thriller novel Checkout Time, was the subject of a True Fiction podcast. His third and most recent book with PathBinder published this May. Bad Pennies is a prequel to his first book with us, Project Suicide.

He also has a short story called “Wheel of Fortune” in Larceny & Last Chances, a collection of twenty-two stories of mystery and suspense edited by Judy Penz Sheluk that is now a Killer Nashville Silver Falchion finalist. That award honors books that incorporate elements of mystery, thriller, suspense, action, and romance.

John was part of The Imaginarium Convention in Louisville again this summer. He moderated a panel on self-editing and presented a workshop on military ranks and organization. The event is for writers and storytellers of all genres, including authors, filmmakers, game developers, artists, musicians, poets, publishers, editors, cosplayers, and many other creatives, and their fans.
