Workshop on being creative while battling low energy

Nov. 11, 2025 - Children’s author Kimberly S. Hoffman will present a workshop on how to be creative even when you have low energy - whether temporary or chronic – at this year’s Imaginarium Convention in Louisville Kentucky. Hoffman, of Columbus, Indiana, lives with Myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) and sometimes has problems finding her creativity. She will share some ideas, encouragement, and empathy during this workshop.

The Imaginarium Convention, now in its 13th year, is a unique event for writers and storytellers of all genres, including authors, filmmakers, game developers, artists, musicians, poets, publishers, editors, cosplayers, and many other creatives, and their fans. It will run July 17-19 at Holiday Inn Louisville East.

Hoffman has nine children’s books out, all published through PathBinder.
