Ashleigh Nowakowski was born in 1984 in southeastern Wisconsin. Growing up with a sibling struggling with addiction shaped her early years and ignited her passion for prevention and healing.

After her brother found recovery, Ashleigh and her parents founded Your Choice to Live, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to drug and alcohol prevention education. For more than a decade, she shared her message across Wisconsin—speaking in schools, guiding parents and educators, and supporting high-risk youth. Her work gave voice to those silently affected by a loved one’s addiction, especially siblings who often go unseen and unheard.

Today, Ashleigh has shifted her focus from prevention education to holistic wellness. As the owner of The Salt Spot, she helps individuals and families live healthier, more balanced lives through natural therapies and self-care practices.

Ashleigh holds a Master of Public Administration and is a Certified Prevention Specialist.
