Raymond J. Hoffman was born in Clintonville, Wisconsin, was based in Scotland with the U.S. Air Force, has a 33-year teaching career educating mostly junior high and middle school students in U.S. History and the Russian language in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, and retired to Brookfield, Wisconsin. His wife, Sharon, passed away in 2021. He has four sons and numerous grandchildren.
